Some notes for OKRs

  1. Not too many objectives at the same time.
  2. Not too many key results either, 1 to 3 is ideal.
  3. Align them equal in value and importance.
  4. Align personal ones with the company.
  5. Objectives have to be challenging.
  6. Keep metrics out of objectives.
  7. Keep key results numeric and clearly measurable.
  8. Ensure key results help you to achieve the objective.
  9. Spend more time on your OKRs.
  10. Include the whole team into the process.
  11. Revisit them regularly like weekly to keep progress.
  12. Make them public.
